On the morning of May 20, the 14th Session of the China-Africa Think Tank Forum was inaugurated. The forum was hosted by the Secretariat of the Follow-up Committee of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, organized by the China Africa Institute and the Secretariat of the National High-Level Think Tank Council of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, co-organized by Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, and assisted by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Yunnan Province. The venue of the forum was located in Kunming, and its theme was "Exchange of Governance Experience between China and Africa and China's Modernization with Chinese Characteristics". Xiao Hao, Executive Vice Dean of the Africa Research Institute of Hunan University, was invited to participate in Sub-forum 2.
At the sub-forum themed "China and Africa Jointly Implement the Global Development Initiative to Lead an Open and Win-Win Modernization", Xiao Hao, Executive Vice Dean of the Africa Research Institute of Hunan University, delivered a speech on "The Health Effects and Influence Mechanisms of Sino-African Bilateral Trade on African Countries". Fan Zijie, Director of the Economic Research Office, and SAGARA SEYDO, a postdoctoral fellow, also attended the meeting.
